Satory's test tracks in the spotlight

diorama-promodels-with-serval-tracks-satory

A diorama is a stage set used to represent historical scenes, battles or specific military contexts.
It is designed for educational or teaching purposes, but can also be used as a prestigious or promotional gift.
Our diorama depicts one of the test tracks at Satory, demonstrating a 40% slope on which a 1:87 scale Promodels model is mounted.
Measuring just 18 x 12 x 13.50 cm, our scenette can easily be placed on a desk to delight both the recipient and visitors, who are bound to be attracted by this top-of-the-range miniature.

All that's missing is a label with the name of the person who will receive this prestigious gift.

If you're interested in this type of diorama, all you need to do is choose the right ingredients to create a diorama on demand:
- choose a model from our catalog
- choose the type of terrain you want
- determine the camouflage you want
- imagine the scene you want
and we'll turn your story into a diorama.

Test tracks at the Satory site

military-vehicle-scale-model

The Satory site in Versailles is a strategic center for the development and testing of military vehicles.
Surrounded by companies such as Nexter/KNDS, Arquus, Motorsports PSA, VEDECOM mobiLAB as well as STAT, its test tracks play a central role in evaluating the performance of military and other vehicles.
Since the early 20th century, the Satory site has been used by the French army as a military training site.
With the end of the Second World War and the motorization of the armed forces, the site became a major industrial center, with the creation of specific infrastructures including off-road tracks, crossing tracks, speed tracks, firing and ballistic test zones and technological test benches.
The Satory plateau and its test tracks help maintain the technological excellence of the French armed forces, but it is also a hub of innovation, integrating tests for autonomous, hybrid or electric vehicles, in addition to conventional armored vehicles.
