The quality of an industrial model is measured in the details: accurate proportions, intricate parts, realistic colors, precise markings, and the quality of the final presentation.

At Promodels, every project benefits from expertise that combines craftsmanship, digital design, and the selection of the most suitable materials. This expertise allows us to produce both one-of-a-kind pieces and small-batch custom models, all with a consistent level of finish.

Our creations are designed for manufacturers, defense contractors, marketing and sales departments, as well as institutions seeking to present, explain, or showcase their products.

We may not work in Bourges, but we make metal gun barrels too—because every detail counts, even in miniature!

We select techniques and materials based on the model, its scale, and its intended use. Resin, machined metal, photo-etched parts, rubber tires, transparent windows, and high-definition decals can be combined to faithfully reproduce the characteristics of the original product. Our goal is not simply to produce a promotional item, but to create a truly high-end representation of our client’s product and brand image.

Promodels produces custom models in small and medium runs for product launches, trade shows, sales presentations, delegations, and marketing campaigns. Colors, markings, logos, registration numbers, configurations, bases, plaques, and packaging can be customized for each program or recipient. A single model can also be produced in multiple versions to represent different variants of a vehicle or piece of equipment.

The Promodels series of Griffon VOA (Artillery Observation Vehicle) models, produced at a 1/48 scale for the DGA at Thales’s request, illustrates this approach: each model features meticulous presentation and custom packaging, tailored to the image of the companies and institutions involved.

The presentation is tailored to the intended use: permanent exhibition, transport to a trade show, presentation to a delegation, VIP gift, or individual shipment to a client or prospect.

Scania VRP: precision in every interior detail

Open-top vehicles are particularly challenging to reproduce, as every interior component remains visible. This 1/48-scale Promodels model of the Scania VRP accurately recreates the cab interior, seats, roll bars, onboard equipment, and armaments. It demonstrates our ability to reproduce even the most complex vehicles with a high level of detail, realism, and accuracy.

PEBS: expertise in complex assemblies

Complex projects involving numerous vehicles, pieces of equipment, and manufacturers require complete mastery of design and assembly. This 35-cm PEBS model combines a Renault Trucks tractor unit, a Louault semi-trailer and an armored vehicle, all reproduced on a 1/48 scale. Assembled by hand, this model demonstrates Promodels’ ability to coordinate multiple components while ensuring precision, consistency, and a high-quality finish.

Centaure: combining materials for maximum realism

Carrying out a complex project requires expertise in combining materials with very different properties. For this Centaure armored vehicle by Soframe, Promodels combines resin, metal, reinforced plastic, and professional-grade acrylic paints. Each material is selected and crafted according to its specific function to achieve finesse, durability, and realism. The finished piece, assembled and painted by hand, showcases our expertise in technical and high-end creations.

Novakamp: a large-scale project in diorama form

A diorama allows a company to showcase all of its products and expertise in a single display. For Novakamp, Promodels created a 1/87-scale model of a project spanning several hectares on an area measuring just 1.20 × 1 meter. Buildings, shelters, vehicles, equipment, and operational zones come together to form a cohesive and immediately understandable display. This project demonstrates our expertise in handling complex projects for trade shows and professional presentations.
