Promodels, a European model maker

URO VAMTAC 1/16 and 1/48 scale models embody the excellence of industrial model-building. Produced to a high level of precision, these premium collector's items showcase the technological know-how of modern military vehicles, and are the ideal presentation medium for trade shows, corporate gifts or brand communication.

The Vamtac (Vehículo de Alta Movilidad Táctico) is a 4x4 light armored vehicle developed by UROVESA between 1980 and 1990. It entered service in 1998, and is mainly used by the Spanish Armed Forces. Designed for tactical mobility, the Vamtac stands out for its robustness, modularity and efficiency in difficult terrain. Several versions, including the Vamtac S3 and ST5, have been released, incorporating improvements in ballistic protection and performance. Exported to over ten countries, the Vamtac is an internationally recognized light military vehicle.

Although UROVESA isn't our first and only European customer, we're proud to have collaborated with this military vehicle manufacturer to create some exceptional models.
In addition to faithful, detailed 1/48 scale gift models, we also produced a limited series of premium 1/16 scale models, featuring a remarkable level of finish and impressive detail.
With these projects, Promodels has confirmed its expertise in the European defense sector, making its own contribution to the industrial excellence and influence of Europe's armed forces.

Each model is offered as a limited edition, making them rare and sought-after pieces. The build quality is outstanding, with meticulous details such as version-specific equipment, precise markings and finely applied paintwork. The quality of the paintwork and the precision of the details make this a masterpiece for any collection.
As you can see from the photos, the ST5 AP version is fitted with brass protective grilles, giving this model a truly realistic look.
