An accurate reproduction
Following the project stage, here is the 3D development stage of our Renault GBC 180 model kit
. Reproducing a vehicle like the GBC 180, for which no manufacturer files are available, is always a challenge. Each modeler can have a different vision, with their own interpretation. The key to producing a high-quality model in series is, above all, the design. If you want a unique piece, the rigor of the design can take a back seat. But as soon as it comes to producing several examples without complications or disproportionate costs at each assembly, then careful design becomes essential. At Promodels, each model is designed with this requirement in mind: anticipating constraints, optimizing assemblies, and ensuring a smooth assembly process. A hand finish because 3D doesn't do everything!
Naturally, the covered parts or the ECR will be retouched by hand to give them a realistic appearance because 3D is a good tool, but the human touch to create "living" forms is faster and better for a natural render.
From a drawing to a high-end model
