diorama-promodels-with-serval-tracks-satory

A diorama is a stage set used to represent historical scenes, battles or specific military contexts.
It is designed for educational or teaching purposes, but can also be used as a prestigious or promotional gift.
Our diorama depicts one of the test tracks at Satory, demonstrating a 40% slope on which a 1:87 scale Promodels model is mounted.
Measuring just 18 x 12 x 13.50 cm, our scenette can easily be placed on a desk to delight both the recipient and visitors, who are bound to be attracted by this top-of-the-range miniature.

All that's missing is a label with the name of the person who will receive this prestigious gift.

If this type of diorama interests you, it is enough to choose the right ingredients to prepare a custom diorama:
- choose a model from our catalog
- choose the nature of the terrain you want
- determine the camouflage you desire
- imagine the scene you expect
and we will bring your story to life in a diorama.

The test tracks of the Satory plateau

military-vehicle-scale-model

The Satory site, located in Versailles, is a strategic center for the development and testing of military vehicles.
Surrounded by companies like Nexter/KNDS, Arquus, Motorsports PSA, VEDECOM mobiLAB, and the STAT, its test tracks play a central role in evaluating the performance of military vehicles and others.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the Satory plateau began to be used by the French army as a military training site.
At the end of World War II and with the motorization of the armies, the site became a major industrial center with the creation of specific infrastructure, including off-road tracks, obstacle courses, speed tracks, firing ranges and ballistic testing areas, and technological test benches.
The Satory plateau and its test tracks contribute to maintaining the technological excellence of the French armed forces, but it is also an innovation hub, integrating tests for autonomous, hybrid, or electric vehicles, in addition to traditional armored vehicles.
