Hardly was the July 14th parade over with the presentation of the AdT’s latest camouflage called CAMTAC when Promodels offered a very limited special series of the Griffon with these new camouflages.

The 3-ton Central Europe camouflage with its disruptive patterns and different colors having run its course, black being very bad for thermal detection for example, a new solution was needed!
The new French earth brown vehicle color of the AdT comes from the lessons learned from different OPEX, which required repainting our vehicles completely according to the theater of operations.
Obviously, it is unthinkable to have the necessary vehicles in all possible camouflages quickly, so a base color "all-purpose" compatible with the 3 main camouflages was imposed!

This new camouflage, part of the Scorpion program, features the French earth brown and will be the new signature of the AdT for its frontline armored vehicles.
This new pattern, designed to improve stealth and concealment, consists of various self-adhesive triangles that can be assembled to form geometric patterns, easily removable to be quickly replaced by one of the other seasonal camouflages.
The Europe camouflage should be applied at the factory, allowing for quick changes thanks to the triangle kits provided for each vehicle, which will simply be positioned over the existing triangles, especially since each vehicle will have a specific pattern.
To complete this system, a new multispectral camouflage net of the Barracuda type (not yet determined) should replace the existing ECR bag net.

Thanks to nearly 30 years of expertise, Promodels has studied the best solution to reproduce this very specific and precise type of camouflage that requires no approximation.
Applied one by one, this work requires particular attention to the placement of each geometric set, and as you can see, despite the size of our models, the result is very convincing.
All that remains is to include our various models in a diorama adapted to each camouflage to test stealth and transform these high-end models into exceptional scale models.
This will soon be possible with our new premium model line.
